It's COLD in London. I wandered the streets for a while and ended up in an American Clothing vintage shoppe that had more stuff than most stores in the US. Hung out at The Red Church (bar/cafe that Bethany works at) and made some new friends. Had a blast hanging out there and talking then I went into Covent Garden to meet up with Jimmy, the first kid I played catch with in little league. He had on a big overcoat and an Indiana Jones hat, but he was the same guy I remember from 10 years ago. So it was awesome hanging out and catching up with him, no to mention his huge brain that is always full of interesting historical facts. I wish I had more time to spend here because the west end is filled with theatres. The British museum is great as well. We went straight to the mummies, then onto the first recorded writing from Mesopotamia. There were some germans that looked just like the Nazis from Indiana Jones & The Last Crusade.
I had to waste the rest of the afternoon waiting for the luggage to arrive, so I made my way through the tubes back toward the Hackney ghetto. I fly to Italy in the morning.
Cheers
